Communications Business Automation Network – CBAN – was founded by a group of leading telecommunications providers. CBAN is a membership organization that works for the benefit of the whole ICT service provider industry.

CBAN’s focus is to ensure an industry-wide adoption of services that will transform the settlement of traffic among global communications providers. It will achieve this by facilitating the collaborative development of an automated settlement platform, which will yield operational efficiencies, accelerate product portfolio enrichment, and create new revenue streams.

Difitek is one of the service providers and contributors in the CBAN’s work to specify and implement a global automated settlement system. Difitek’s cloud-based finance back office as a service offers a framework to implement finance service and integrate financial services to other services, like settlement.

The Founding members of the CBAN are A1 Telekom Austria, BTS, Colt, Deutsche Telekom, IDT, Orange, PCCW Global, Tata Communications, Telefonica and Telstra, with more expected to join in the coming months. In additon, AT&T, Sparkle and Verizon have contributed to the development of the CBAN and its technical architecture and business product definitions.
